Υπάρχουν τόσα προϊόντα που υπόσχονται ότι θα σε κρύψουν. Όταν φαίνεσαι, τραβάς τα βλέμματα.Σε άλλους προκαλείς οίκτο, σε άλλους περιέργεια, σε άλλους αποστροφή. Υπάρχουν και αυτοί στους οποίους προκαλείς και γέλιο. Όμως υπάρχουν και αυτοί που τους εμπνέεις σεβασμό...

Σε απέκτησαν μετά από ένα χτύπημα όταν ήταν παιδιά. Ίσως και όταν έφεραν οι ίδιοι στον κόσμο παιδιά. Άλλοι σε κέρδισαν, κερδίζοντας τη ζωή. Άλλοι σε αγάπησαν και άλλοι σε μίσησαν. Σε ονόμασαν ουλή, σημάδι, ευχή, κατάρα, δώρο, παράσημο...

Στην αρχή δεν ήξερα την αξία σου και ήθελα να σε κρύβω όπως μπορούσα, γιατί τα μάτια των αδιάκριτων πονούσαν πάνω μου. Άργησα να σε καταλάβω. Όμως ξέρω ότι θα βαδίζουμε μαζί ως το τέλος αυτού του ταξιδιού και είναι μακρύς αυτός ο δρόμος. Προτιμώ να σε δω ως φίλο που μου έφερε το πιο πολύτιμο δώρο. Άλλωστε το έχει πει και άλλος: "out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars..."

There are so many products that promise to cover you. When you are uncovered, you are eye-catching. In some people you evoke pity, in others curiosity, or even aversion. There are those to whom you seem funny or humiliating. But there are those who are inspired with respect ...

They got you after a buck when they were kids. Perhaps when the same ones bore children into this world. Some earned you as winners in life, others loved you, yet others hated you. You have been called a scar, a mark, a blessing, a curse, a gift, a badge of bravery ...

At first, I couldn't see your worthiness and I wanted to cover you, because the indiscreet people's stare used to hurt me. Later, I understood. But I know we will be standing together by the end of this journey and this is a long way. I prefer to see you as a friend who gave me the most precious gift.
